Sponsorship Guidelines
ACC Northeast is pleased to present you with this opportunity to become a valued ACCNE Sponsor.
Below we have compiled our guidelines and best practices for governing our relationship over the coming year. Please review the Sponsorship Guidelines prior to submitting an application. We look forward to building a mutually beneficial partnership with your organization.
Sponsorship Best Practices
These aren’t rules—but they are the lessons we’ve learned from dozens of highly successful (and some less successful!) events. Want your sponsorship to shine? These tips will help.
Deadlines for topics and speakers is 45-60 days prior to event date.
ACC Northeast seeks to start promoting events at least 6-8 weeks in advance so finalizing the topics and invitations is encouraged 6-8 weeks in advance of the scheduled event.
ACC Northeast will work with Sponsors to develop the topics for all programs. All Programming must be tailored to needs to ACC Northeast membership.
ACC Northeast seeks to develop a working relationship with your program liaison and director early in planning process.
All events must have an in-house panelist. ACC Northeast can help identify in-house as needed.
Sponsors are encouraged to provide attendees a short practical guidance tip sheet for all substantive programs.
All substantive programs need to include the ACC Northeast logo.
Rescheduling planned events is not feasible, dates cannot be changed after ACC Northeast calendar has been published.
Select venue as early as possible (but no later than 45 days before scheduled social event).
Social events at a new or unique venues with fun activities are better attended.
In-house counsel clients who are not members are welcome to attend our events, so please promote your event to your clients.
Program Term & Scheduling
All programs, meetings or sponsor benefits must occur or be received during the Program Term, which runs from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
We request sponsors submit possible program topics and desired dates as early as possible.
The priority of scheduling topics and program dates is based on level of sponsorship. However, within a level of sponsorship, sponsors who submit applications earlier will have priority in choices of dates and topics.
Based on past experience, we strongly recommend that sponsors hold their in-person programming on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
ACCNE will work with sponsors to select mutually agreeable dates for all programs and events.
Topics will be reviewed by ACC Chapter Administrator and ACC Northeast Programs Committee. If approved, you will be contacted and calls will be scheduled to refine the content so that it will resonate with membership.
ACCNE will assist with developing the content, crafting the invitation, and helping to recruit panelists (especially the in-house speakers) for all programs and events.
We want to offer our members great programming so we will work with your team to make the program as successful as possible! We do all the promotion to our membership through email invitations, LinkedIn posts, and the registration information will appear on our Chapter website.
With the exception of webinars, we will handle the entire registration process, track attendance, create name badges, and attend the program to help the program run smoothly.
Event Costs & Forfeiture
Except as otherwise noted, Sponsors are responsible for selecting a venue and paying all expenses associated with their sponsored programs, including expenses associated with meals, drinks, audio-visual needs and venue rental fees.
Unfortunately, if despite reasonable efforts by ACC Northeast to schedule an event with a sponsor, a sponsor does not schedule its event during the Program Term, the Sponsor will forfeit its opportunity to sponsor the event and its sponsorship fee.
Marketing & Contact
ACC Northeast is subject to the privacy policy of the Association of Corporate Counsel, which limits the Chapter’s ability to share member information with third parties. We ask for our sponsors’ assistance in adhering to this commitment.
In addition, in the event a sponsor obtains an ACC Northeast member’s information (unless voluntarily provided directly to sponsor for purposes other than participation in the sponsor’s event), the sponsor is strictly prohibited from using such information for any purpose other than in connection with approved invitations to ACC Northeast’s membership for the sponsor’s program event or nominal raffle prizes for event participants.
